The History Channel is rife with propaganda; all one has to do is pull up the show list and read the short descriptions on them; just about any topic worthy of real discourse is packed into an easy to process 45 minutes show and fed to the hungry masses (most who consider themselves above average in intelligence because they watch the history channel to begin with). The shows format is always the same, lay out the most controversial issues out on any one subject, gather a few Professors from Universities around America, and proceed to poke holes in any topic they choose so long as it can infused with doubt. Most shows deal nothing with real myth and subjects that are explosive are ignore altogether; subjects like 2012, the Bosnian Pyramids, and most of the Camelot material (worthy of a 12 episode series I would think!) TV has been reduced to a simple tool.
Modern Marvels: Super Hot Explore the world of extreme temperatures. See what happens to Pyroman, a life-size mannequin, as he is exposed to over 3,000 degrees F. Visit Underwriters Laboratories and see how common household appliances can go lethal. Follow geologists as they take lava samples from the Kilauea volcano in Hawaii. Finally, journey into a fusion facility in San Diego, California and watch as scientist's heat plasma to over 200 million degrees F in hopes of someday creating an inexhaustible power source In this show I watched multiple shots of the sky show huge chemtrails directly overhead, this is subjecting people to a form of propaganda on a subconscious level. Consciously they are not making the connection that these lines in the sky are not normal because they have seen them before and are familiar with how they look. Subconsciously the masses are being programmed through television to accept these things as being natural. This is a little disconcerting to those who are awake and aware…I suggest everyone who watches the history channel to watch closely and notice these forms of propaganda and make others aware of it as well. This will only stop when enough people pay attention and have the courage to call a spade a spade. The History Channel is being used as a tool for propaganda purposes; subjecting the masses with imagery that programs them to accept things on a subconscious level. On a personal note I have seen most of these shows and they are terrible; the only thing that pisses me off more then watching this garbage is the ahole who comes up to me and quotes it as fact like he just read it out of a history book. Now I’m not saying people are idiots for watching the History Channel, what I am saying is most of it is BS and the rest extremely propagandistic. Do not believe a word I say …go watch it for yourself, and take a look at the show descriptions… Einstein: Albert Einstein's revolutionary theory that turned the world upside down might have been dismissed but for a math mistake, a cloudy sky, and the start of World War I. This fascinating two-hour special tells the story of Einstein's little-known, 15-year struggle to prove one of his most radical theories -- a theory that upended Newton and three centuries of scientific thought and called into question the definitions of space and light and gravity -- the game-changing concept known as the Theory of General Relativity. Today, more than a century since the "Miracle Year" in which he published many of his breakthrough papers, Einstein's ideas remain a living, vibrant influence. They continue to push scientists farther, and deeper, into the universe than even he could have imagined. Einstein’s theories are outdated…Quantum Physics! The Universe: Deep Space Disasters In space travel there is a saying that the first 50 miles and the last 50 miles are the most dangerous. Explore the controlled explosion of launch, the fiery crucible of reentry and everything in between. See how a single spark inside a spacecraft or a micrometeoroid less than an inch wide hitting a space station can turn a routine mission into a lethal nightmare. As the missions become longer, venturing to Mars and beyond, the potential disasters will only become bigger. What would happen if a spacecraft ventured too close to a black hole or was hit by a gamma ray burst? Complete BS when we have reversed engineered alien technology (in very laymen terms) that creates an electromagnetic bubble around the craft using highly advanced propulsion systems; thus freeing it from the effects of gravity…space junk would bounce off it. Look at any legit UFO photo and you can see the disturbance waves around the craft. That is high output of electromagnetic energy…again they infuse what is possible and impossible to the masses. In this instance; space travel…very costly, very dangerous, so why bother. Hell: The Devil's Domain: Our in-depth history of Hades begins with the story of a negative near-death experience, in which a man thinks he went to Hell after being declared clinically dead and before resuscitation. Following Lucifer's trail from cave paintings in France circa 6,000 BC to current portrayals in popular culture, our 2-hour exploration shows how Hell and the Devil remain powerful forces--at a church in Texas, where souls are delivered from Satan's grip; in talks with a survivor of the 1980s recovered memory craze, who "recalled" attending Witches' Sabbaths that practiced cannibalism; and at the modern Church of Satan. We review literary landmarks that expanded our ideas of the Underworld, from Dante's Inferno and Milton's Paradise Lost to Mark Twain's anti-hero, and trace development of Christian, Moslem, Jewish, and Buddhist conceptions of the afterlife. I’m sure the illumined get a big kick out of seeing this shi- on TV when it comes on… ![]() Modern Marvels: Edison Tech. He was the father of the future...electric lights, power systems, motion pictures, recorded sound--even the tattoo pen. Life as we know it would be inconceivable without the prodigious output of the Wizard of Menlo Park, Thomas Alva Edison. His intense focus on his work came with a hefty personal price, but his reward was a world forever changed by his genius. Years after his death, Edison's effect is seen, heard, and felt everywhere. We follow descendants of his motion-picture camera to the tops of Earth's highest mountains, to the bottoms of its deepest oceans, and even into outer space. We track his innovations in recorded sound to CDs, iPods, sophisticated movie sound, and satellite radio. And we illuminate his world of electric light, powering the world and turning night into day. Along the way, we discover a little Edison in corners of modern life less well-known and even look at his failures. From the Internet to the stock market to pay-per-view; the Wizard is everywhere. Here is one of the biggest pieces of trash I have seen on this channel; Edison (please look this up for yourselves folks) was a complete and utter pric-. He stole inventions and harassed other inventors endlessly; single handedly destroying the greatest man in human history, Nicola Tesla. This is but a small example…I urge you all to see for yourselves. Peace and Love |

I'm a history buff but I see plenty of stuff on the History Channel (when I can watch it) that can easily be disproved or outright dismissed.

You're both right... but it's still better than 98% of the other **** on TV.
