Hi Everybody,
It's easy to scream and bawl about the PTB or the Iluminati, or the NWO.It's another to understand them and how they work. I found this podcast after checking up on a guest of a brilliant television program called Hard Talk hosted by Stephen Sakur. The guests' name is David Rothkopf, CEO of Garten Rothkopf and author of "Superclass: The Global Power Elite and the World They are Making". The talk he gives in this podcast is fascinating and he explains how the world is ruled by only a few people and justifies why. http://ecorner.stanford.edu/authorMa....html?mid=1972 It's well worth 58 minutes of your time. ![]() Best regards, Steve |

Happy birthday for yesterday Steve, will have a look. Hope you had a better one than I did monday having been struck down with flu ! I wonder if there are a large number of scorpios on this forum considering our interest in other worldly things and in investigating in general.

With Earth as the 'family business' it appears that the 'father' put together a beautiful business and Jr.(s) didn't learn anything from Dad.
The business is being run into the ground. Isn't this something that happens when 'sons' take over the family business? He buys fast cars and boats and runs around partying with pretty girls...all with daddy's influence and cash. No understanding of the legacy his father built for him. No appreciation for the stability and security set in place for him. Too bad...I've always thought 'they' could have earned a true 'Hero Legacy' if they only had the ability of sincere compassion and generosity. I hear and read all over the place how we have enough of everything...enough money, enough land, enough food, enough love... But I see lack of abundance in so many places... The poor have no abundance of truth, food, education, health, MONEY The rich have no abundance of compassion, generosity, gratitude, MONEY (yeah, it seems they never have enough, yes?) ![]() Gotta love 'em! They need us! ![]() |

for a mafia like the one who rules this world is easy to rule with few people at the top: they threat every opposition with death penalty. So that is not fascinating at all.

very thought provoking. i was not aware of the 80/20% rule/theory (easily applied to this forum also).
bringing asia into the davos mix is inevitable, but i think they have learned from the masters too well & will surpass our lack of community & compassion. another interesting question (not answered) was, what is the tipping point for social unrest? |

Just finished listening...
I certainly do not disagree with many of this gentleman's statements. However, on the whole, I find him essentially a schill for one world government. Key is his notion that income disparity is the key problem of our time, coupled with the notion that nation states are incapable of fixing said problem. In the question and answer section he characterized the globilization debate as "false". He also completely avoided answering the question about the creation of "1984" by strengthening government. He then again made the statement that national governments are unable to deal with income inequity at the end. He makes a mistake, if it is a mistake, by positing a problem (income and power inequity), and finding the solution in the same mechanisms that have created it - except that by empowering those mechanisms on a global scale the problem can be solved. An intelligent man with insight on the global elite, but a spokesman for them at the same time. |
