Another good one for alternate energy and low cost alternatives to building materials etc, is NO CHAINS the "Off-grid-on-a-shoestring" transition e-book. It is from the folks at www.wayoffgrid.com . They are the ones that posted the 1400 Alaska properties averaging $440 an acre and now have that free State Land toolbar that has thousands of parcels across the US, many at bargain basement prices.
