Fake Alien Invasion

I've heard a lot of chatter about the Governments staging a fake alien invasion, amongst other things, as a tool to bring in martial law and keep us under control etc. Some of the rumours of a fake invasion appear to come from credible sources, so I'll accept a potential fake invasion as a given.

Of course it doesn't have to be a fake alien threat, it could be a fake terrorist threat, fake disaster, anything...

But lets say they are going to stage a fake alien invasion - WHY?

Why not simply reveal knowledge of aliens visiting the planet? It just seems a lot of trouble to go to, to stage an alien visitation when they can communicate with the aliens and get it done for real.

I was acctually thinking the same exact thing today, not about the fake alien invasion, which could be possible, but i was haveing a conversation with my teacher in class on what would it take for the president to hold office "george bush", my teacher was like "well during the civil war and world war 2 there was an election so i dont think a president could override an election" UNLESS (someone butted in) Marshal Law became active, then there would be a possibility for the pres. to hold office "but marshal law is only enacted under extreme circumstances" now ALIEN INVASION, NUCLEAR THREAT, ECT. whether fake or legitamite threats have the possibilty to keep the pres in office.....i kindof rambled of but to get to the point, I was thinking about basically the samething today, and Whether it be us attacking IRAN and them retaliating or ALIEN INVASION, there deff. is that vibe out there that everyones picking up on and i think its right around the corner
