I am just reading, The Dome, must be a fairly recent book. He uses recent people, ptb, etc, in the plot. I was thinking this situation could occur, in the event of our organized effort here, in Avalon, on organizing sustainable communities and how to deal with such a scenario. ie: ISOLATED.

Comments or such on Mr Kings work will be welcome here. I probably have already broken this thread by mentioning sustainability scenarios, so please MODERATORS do as you please. I appreciate your efforts immensely.

I've read a bit of Stephen King. Haven't read this new one you mentioned, might check it out sometime.

The Stand is probably my favorite by him.

Mine to 371. I have the first and the unedited/revised versions and have read them at least twice over the years.
