The Clash - Should I stay or should I go

Anyone remembers this one? Could be the theme of Project Avalon, no?

Now, serious (very).
Almost everyone here wants to survive, whatever is coming, at all cost.
In a way that's what Project Avalon is all about: finding out what is coming and how to survive it.
I don't want to survive everything. It all depends on what is coming.
Should I go to the other side of the world, because of a northern hemisphere that would become radioactive after a series of atom bombs have been dropped? Maybe the southern side will stay unaffected. But is this a world I want to live in? I don’t know. It doesn’t seem to be a nice idea, some of my species wrecked half of my world out of greed and other nice qualities. I would be ashamed. The idea, the people on the other side, not death yet are all slowly dying. Not very nice too.
And then you have to be sure, your southern part isn’t really affected. I half of the planet dies out, could the other side survive in the long run? I remember a discussion where we asked each other; what do you prefer if the atom bomb falls: would you like to be in centre of it, or 100 miles away? Of course we would rather not see atom bombs falling. But in case it has to happen, maybe it’s better to have it right on your head. You wouldn’t feel a thing. If you are 100 miles away you are deep in trouble. Then a long horrible death is waiting for you.
But if you ‘re on the other side of the world. Maybe. Again it depends on what will happen. If the whole northern part is so heavily contaminated that all live diminishes the whole systems would collapse.
So I would prefer we’re all wrong and nothing happens at all. The world is already in a terrible state. Please let’s not add to it.
It’s better to prevent than to heal, or something like that.
And if those predictions were right, I’d rather like to die I think. Death in itself is not the worst thing that could happen. Am I a coward or to negative, you think?

How can you know where you are spiritually?
And what if you find yourself to be not where you should be (spiritually)?
Then you’re f***cked?
Are should you very very quickly try to get there? You never know you get there just in time.

"what will matter is where you are spiritually"
If this is true, then all those preparations Avalon is about are useless? Unless it concerns spiritually preparations, of course.
Should I stay or should I go In that case I can stay. As long as I am spiritually in the right place, or hurrying to that right place.

Very confusing, this end of times thinking, doesn't it?

Me, I'm not afraid of death. Only of dying. I hate pain, don't you?.

You know, there are two fundamental ways of looking at the world: materialism and dualism.
Materialists say there is nothing else than matter. No spirit, no soul... Indeed they are atheists too. After death there is nothing. Death cannot hurt that way. You don't exist anymore once you're death.
Dualists belief there is more than matter. What that more is, is another story. Spirit, soul or whatever you want to make of it. Mostly it means there is something after life. Amongst a lot of other consequences. One of those is the possibility that this other thing than matter is able to grow. A very common idea.
Materialists have good reasons to be materialists. Dualist have good reasons to be dualist. There are weak through strong arguments. Both believe in something. Materialists (or atheists) always protest if you say so. But materialism is as much a believe as dualism is. And as it is with much believers, you can experience difficulties discussing with them. Sometimes a good discussion is even totaly out of the question.
I don't know anything. So I guess, the best thing to do is to put me between both positions. In that way I have to call my self an agnostic.

Well, with all this end of times thinking, it's the same: I don't know, I cannot know.

What I do know is end of times thinking has always been there. So much so, there is a study field called eschatology. A eschatologist studies end of times thinking. Well, well.

What I do know is, it is a very lucrative commercial thing. A whole industry has been build around it.
Still, this doesn't mean it's all a hoax or mere superstition.
Maybe the "gods", who once visited earth, told people they would come back again at the end of time and this message went from generation to generation just until now.
Maybe end of times thinking just for fills a certain human need.
No, agnosticism isn't easy. That's for sure.

I am making this too long now, I know.

One last thing. Even if there is no cosmic event waiting to happen. Even if there are no factions wanting to eliminate most part of population; even if there are no wars at hand, etc... One thing I know and we all should realize: we ourselves (not the others) are very busy destroying this world. Maybe others too, ok. But don't forget, you too are playing your part in the destruction. (the chance you're not, is very small)
Don't look to the aliens.

Just kiddin' folks. You shouldn't take it all to serious. Ok?

stay. you have followed the path given to you. do not worry or concern with future events. Centre upon yourself, stop crying out. you are here for a reason so just live your life. you are part of the plan that you agreed upon before this life.

Don't get yourself stressed by this. I did for a while.....then I finally settled down, because I really knew better. Everyone will be where they are supposed to be at any given time. Just take care of yourself and your family as best you can. Prepare what you can but don't panic or that will be your downfall. It'll all work out that way it's supposed to.

Understand that you are here on Earth by choice. When you have satisfied your purpose in learning...you may leave'' ...Ramtha

A victim flees, a survivor stays, lets face the future from where we are, there's no running you know. Why not just face whatever is coming? The body doesn't matter really, because if your work toward a "healthy" soul, everything will be alright.

Try overcoming fear, I know myself its really hard, but you make progress every day. Also to become a good example to friends and people around you, and they always follow good examples.

Let NONE negativity affect you in any way.
