Contacting "the other side"

Ok, Here is something that is on my mine...The fact that people say they are in contact with beings on the other side..Somewhere in the bible it says something like God said that it would NOT be alowed to do. because it would go against 1 of the laws...Soooo this means that every single person being contacted by good or bad beings are breaking the rules no ??? I dunno just thought i would throw that out there!

I wouldnt say its "bad" to be contacted by other beings... but the problem with other beings is that you dont know their intentions. So it is alot safer to go to books like the bhagavad gita and learn from the teachings of those who have ascended. An advanced spiritual student will be able to know which have higher intentions and then working with those beings would be generative.

I know of people who conversed with beings from "the other side" that had dark intentions and those peoples acts even though well intended, were still degenerative.

That's pretty much the fundamentalist point of view to say those doing it are evil (mediums, channelers etc) However,

heya Morphious...it just crossed my mind.... in various research on aliens/entities/visitations...i have come across alot of material that indicates that certain entities are NOT acting in accordance with the 'universal law' so to speak.....
just a thought.... maybe there was some truth in that part of the bible!!?

First, contact from the other side? Aliens, the dead, Angels, spirit guides, fairies, demons, . . . the other side is very vague. MAny energy forms exist, operate outisde our frequency range and our limited ability to see within our visible light spectrum.
Second, the bible. The bible is man's rendition of God's word, or some of them anyway, to keep 'us' under control and living in fear. God's word comes from within, not a book that someone else wrote. You must connect to source, not follow someone else how claims to be connected.
Third, once you do connect or contac tthe other side, just because you can't see it doesn't mean it is enlightened or knows better for you than you do-if you have conneceted to your spirirt and source.

I read this with interest. I would like to add that i am a medium of a great many years. I do not belong to any religious organisation and have not adopted any of their belief systems. I was one of those individuals who either by design or 'accident' was invited to enter the other side at the tender age of five. This continued until i was thirteen (i am now fifty years of age), though not on a regular basis. It is strange that the onset of my puberty also spelled the end of these nightly adventures, though i now understand the reasons why. Like all good narratives, my one is long and involved.

Now in all these years i have been shown a great many things, and it is largely irrelevant whether i am to be believed or not, but i can promise everyone here, that the 'Other Side' is a very real place. Sadly, words fail me to adequately describe it, which would make any sort of cohesive sense, though i suppose i could generalise.

One thing though and this is important. No matter what the future may have in store for anyone of us in this world, i know that none of us are forgotten in any shape or form, and all will indeed be well. Your agreement is of course not needed, but for your peace of mind it would be a good thing to keep an open mind on the subject. Eventually, and if you are reasonable, you will gravitate towards this truth in your own good time.

Morphious, Why do you belive a book that was written by man contains the views of the creator of the universe? Why is the Bible correct and the Koran ( for example ) is not. I personally think that religion has no place in society anymore. These texts are not the teachings of the Creator. They were written by men to either control mankind, or teach them. Either way they were written by MAN.

Why do people put faith in the bible and religion, you have to look past these teachings,they have been put there to enslave you, you follow it's every word you teach the children in the schools, with each generation the story is told.
We all need to look within ourselves, do not fear the loss of religion it has shackled us since time started.
The bible is a only book and has been changed so many times to cater to the whims of the alien race that powers this earth today.
If they can get you to believe IN THERE SUN GOD which is all the bible is anyway they have you convinced that you can not live without there creator.
Which is pretty much the way the world has gone today, be it what ever religion you are indoctrinated in.

We are of a much higher being than those who hold us enslaved, they have kept us in a state of confusion, with their false hoods and their technology, Innoculation from birth,dumbed down by the symbology of everything around us our higher self has been cut off from the true self.
The all one true love for all mankind,
Once this false reality, the reality that you see around you daily falls away and it will do because those alien entities that have power over us today are begining to lose their control, they can see their world floundering and there is nothing they can do.
we are a stronger force!
There are only a few but that few have control, their lacky's aid in their work they have given themselves up to their dark religion where wealth amd power mean everything to them, they pass by those of us who struggle just to live they do not care.
They have given their soul and can never return to their one true home.
