This product is sold as a nutritional supplement and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

1. Vitamin A (as beta carotene)...7,000 IU - Vitamin A is an antioxidant and immune system booster, gives carrots its color.

2. Vitamin C...1000mg - Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant. One of vitamin C's important functions is to protect LDL cholesterol from oxidative damage. Only when LDL (the BAD cholesterol) is damaged, does cholesterol appear to lead to heart disease, and vitamin C may be the most important antioxidant protector of LDL.

3. Natural Vitamin E...400 IU - Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant. According to the New England Journal of Medicine, both men and women who supplement with at least 100 IU of vitamin E per day for at least two years have a 37-41% drop in the risk of heart disease. The 77% drop in nonfatal heart attacks reported in the double blind CHAOS study, in which subjects were given 400-800 IU vitamin E per day, provides even more convincing data.

4. Vitamin B-1 (thiamine)...25mg - Vitamin B1 is required for the normal function of nerve cells.

5. Vitamin B-2 (riboflavin)...10mg - Vitamin B2 acts as an antioxidant in some circumstances.

6. Niacinamide...50mg - Niacin reduces the cholesterol level in the blood and improves circulation.

7. Vitamin B-6 (pyridoxine)...25mg - Homocysteine is a substance which has been linked to heart disease, stroke, osteoporosis and Alzheimer's disease. Vitamin B6 lowers homocysteine levels.

8. Folic Acid...800mcg - Folic acid is needed to control homocysteine levels in blood. Excess homocysteine has been linked to an increased risk of heart disease and may also be linked to osteoporosis, strokes, and Alzheimer's disease.

9. Vitamin B-12 (cobalamin)...500 mcg - Controls homocysteine levels as it works with folic acid.

10. Pantothenic Acid...100mg - Produces, transports, and releases energy from fats. Also activates the adrenal glands. Pantethine-a variation of pantothenic acid-has been reported to lower blood levels of cholesterol and triglycerides.

11. Calcium...50 mg - Calcium appears to partially bind some fats and cholesterol in the gastrointestinal tract. Some older research suggests that calcium supplementation may help lower cholesterol levels.

12. Magnesium ...250mg - Magnesium is essential in stroke prevention and is essential for normal heart beat, nerve transmission, bone growth, body temperature, and arterial health.

13. Zinc...25 mg - Protects against free radicals.

14. Selenium ...200 mcg - Limited research reports that depleted levels of selenium may lead to heart disease.

15. Copper...1mg - Proper copper balance improves HDL to LDL ratio.

16. Chromium ...300 mcg - Chromium lowers overall cholesterol levels and may play a role in increasing HDL (GOOD cholesterol).

17. Potassium ...100mg - Potassium regulates water and acid levels. It is also needed to regulate blood pressure and neuromuscular function.

18. Inositol ...50mg - It benefits nerve transmission and aids in transporting fat within the body.

19. Bioflavonoids (hesperidin)...25mg - Protects LDL-cholesterol from oxidative damage. Functions as an antioxidant.

20. CoQ10...60 mg - Coenzyme Q10 is contained in virtually every cell of the human body. The most coenzyme Q10 is located in the mitochondria, the area of cells where energy is produced. Because they contain the most mitochondria per cell, the heart and liver have the greatest amount of coenzyme Q10. Coenzyme Q10 may take several months to show beneficial results, but it has been proven in double-blind research that Coenzyme Q10 helps people with congestive heart failure. People with congestive heart failure who take coenzyme Q10 should not stop taking it suddenly because sudden withdrawal may exacerbate the symptoms of congestive heart failure. Other improvements have been reported in people with cardiomyopathies-a group of diseases affecting heart muscle. Research (including double blind studies) in this area has been consistently positive. Also, due to its effect on heart muscle, researchers have studied coenzyme Q10 in heart arrhythmia patients. Preliminary research in this area reported improvement after approximately one month in people with premature ventricular beats (a form of arrhythmia) who also suffer from diabetes. Angina patients taking 150 mg per day of coenzyme Q10 report a greater ability to exercise without problems. This has been confirmed in independent investigations. Coenzyme Q10 appears to increase the heart's tolerance to a lack of oxygen. Perhaps as a result, preliminary research has shown that problems resulting from heart surgery occurred less in people given coenzyme Q10 compared with the control group.

21. Grape Seed Extract...10mg - Grapeseeds contain a remarkable bioflavonoid, complexes known as Procyanidolic Oligomers (PCO). These bioflavonoids act as free radical scavengers like vitamin C, Vitamin E and Beta Carotene. The main functions of proanthocyanidins are antioxidant activity, stabilization of collagen, and maintenance of elastin-two critical proteins in connective tissue, blood vessels, and muscle.

22. Hawthorn Berry Standardized Extract (flowers, leaves, berries)...400mg Hawthorn has numerous benefits to the heart and blood vessels. It may improve coronary artery blood flow and the contractions of the heart muscle. Clinical trials have confirmed hawthorn is beneficial for persons with stage II congestive heart failure, even showing as much effectiveness as the diuretic drug captopril. Congestive heart failure is a serious medical condition that requires medical treatment rather than self-treatment. Other studies have shown it may help those with stable angina. Also, it may mildly inhibit angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) and reduce production of the potent blood vessel-constricting substance angiotensin II. This reduces resistance in arteries and improves circulation in the extremities. The bioflavonoids in hawthorn are potent antioxidants. Hawthorn extracts may mildly lower blood pressure in some individuals with high blood pressure. However, these extracts should not be thought of as a substitute for cardiac medications for this condition.

24. Ginkgo Biloba ...50mg - GBE increases circulatory efficiency throughout the entire body. Both the arteries (the large vessels) and the capillaries (the small vessels) experience increased circulatory efficiency because GBE regulates the tone and elasticity of blood vessels. GBE increases circulation to the brain and the extremities.

25. Rice bran oil...200mg - The K. L. Jordan Heart Research Foundation, in Montclair, N.J. reports a new study that shows that rice bran oil has been found to significantly improve total cholesterol levels in patients with high cholesterol.

26. Apple Cider Vinegar 1,000mg - Promotes healthy blood cholesterol levels.

28. Lecithin 100mg - Necessary for the soundness of cell membranes. Lecithin also facilitates the movement of fats in and out of cells.

29. Tocotrienol concentrate (standardized for 15% tocotrienols)...50mg - The Journal of Environmental and Nutritional Interactions publishes findings that show that tocotrienol-rich extract reduced total cholesterol 14.1% and LDL (bad cholesterol) by 20.6%.

30. Trimethylglycine (Betaine)...100 mg - Controls homocysteine levels.

31. Soy Isoflavone Concentrate...100mg - Exactly how soy lowers cholesterol remains a scientific debate but phytosterols and other components of soy have been reported to lower cholesterol levels. A meta-analysis study that pooled thirty-eight trials for reanalysis reported that a soy diet led to cholesterol reductions in 89% of the studies. Increasing soy intake was associated with a 23 mg per deciliter drop in total cholesterol levels.

32. Green Tea 50mg - Research demonstrates that green tea mildly guards against cardiovascular disease in many ways. Green tea in some studies has been shown to lower total cholesterol levels and improve the cholesterol profile (the ratio of LDL cholesterol to HDL cholesterol), reduce platelet aggregation, and lower blood pressure.

33. Guggul Extract 50mg - Reportedly Guggul lowers serum cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

34. Beet extract (4:1) 100mg - Good source of folic acid, an essential nutrient found in green plants and fresh fruit that prevents certain types of birth defects and cancer and can protect against heart attacks.

35. Alpha Lipoic Acid...50mg - Alpha lipoic acid is soluble in both fat and water. For this reason it is sometimes referred to as the "universal antioxidant." Alpha lipoic acid is a vitamin-like antioxidant.

36. Phytoserols (plant sterol concentrate)...100mg - Beta-sitosterol blocks absorption of cholesterol.

Beta-sitosterol-alone and in combination with similar plant sterols-reduces cholesterol levels.

37. Bilberry...50mg - Anthocyanosides in bilberry may also improve capillary and venous blood flow. Bilberry protects cholesterol from oxidizing in test tubes. It is theorized this is how it helps people with arteriosclerosis.

38. Cayenne Powder...20mg - In ancient times, cayenne was frequently used to treat diseases of the circulatory system. It is still traditionally used in herbal medicine as a circulatory tonic because it is believed to improve circulation.

39. L-Arginine...100mg - Arginine is also a precursor to nitric oxide, which the body uses to keep blood vessels dilated, allowing the heart to receive adequate oxygen. Preliminary evidence suggests that arginine may help regulate cholesterol levels. Arginine also appears to act as a natural blood thinner by reducing platelet aggregation.

40. L-Carnitine...250mg - Its actions appear to be particularly important in the heart. For congestive heart failure, much of the research has used a modified form of carnitine called propionyl-L-carnitine (PC). In one double blind trial, using 500 mg PC per day led to a 26% increase in exercise capacity after six months.

Italian doctors prescribe carnitine for heart failure, heart arrhythmias, angina pectoris, and lack of oxygen to the heart.

41. L-Lysine...50mg - Linus Pauling believed that lysine helps maintain healthy blood vessels, an idea based on biochemistry and results from three people with angina pectoris who responded to lysine supplementation

42. Taurine...250 mg - Taurine increases acetylcholine levels and helps regulate the nervous system.

43. Bromelain...200 mg - Bromelain is a digestive enzyme that supports reducing excessive platelet stickiness similar to low-dose aspirin and lowering fribronogen levels to help prevent abnormal blood clot formation. It also helps with digesting proteins.
