Arrow Calling All Stations

More and more names seem to slowly ebb away and yes, it does feel lonely at times. Interestingly, it doesn't seem like there is a similar influx of new names. Now I don't have the statistics on this, but either new registrations are terribly quiet or there is something up.

Now you've stuck around, lost your faith or slowly submerged... or you're simply lurking for whatever reason.
Whatever it is, report back to base and let us know what's up.
Personal business, lack of time, wrong threads, wrong attitude? I'm curious.

Let Avalon know.

The ground crew is a myth. This is a debaters, tall tales,
and liars society. All that is missing is the beer.

I come here to kill time while we pay off the house, and
chat on occasion with the handful of folks who are actually
doing something. It will last until the net goes dark or my
membership runs out.

Wow Baggy...why don't you tell us how you really feel

There is plenty of beer in the Avalon Lounge
Seriously...this is the first forum I've ever been on... I have noticed the area of solutions to all that is around us is slim...but I'm not sure where you come up with the idea that we are a liars society...that is pretty strong...it must come from somewhere...
I know there are lots of people here who are stuck and cannot get any assistance....they are making it day to day.
I also remember a member who left the forum because she did not have the money...and was traveling from place to place with her husband...they lost their house...and god only knows where they are now.
Baggy...if you can come up with a solution for something like that...my hats off to you....but we are all in this together..for better or worse....
Everyone is different...that is what makes us unique....and I believe that we who are left are just looking for solutions to the things that are happening...and expressing our fears as well.
I hope we can all figure this out together...and in the end we can at least say we shared a part of ourselves.

Yeah and he's feeling really low right now too!
I'm actually lucky because my plans are made. I didn't come here to get into a groundcrew. I came here to learn as much as possible. I already know how to survive, so I came here to learn about all the other stuff which I knew nothing about any of it 8 months ago!
After now reading 4 books, which I got out of the Avalon library, and watching 100's of videos, I've learned more in the last 8 months than in the last 8 years!
So I come here now to just stay up on all the recent happenings.

Well, my groundcrew plans are well in hand, and I sure as hell don't lie!!!. I came here to learn more survival stuff and meet like-minded people. Avalon has more than met my expectations. I get a bit frustrated at the doom and gloom stuff and have a rant sometimes, but that passes and I read some some great posts here and great threads.

Cheers

i pop in most days to check it out.
groundcrew is out of the question for me, due to my location. haven't found anyone on here with several hundred miles.
i was sponsored here, so it'll expire sometime, not sure when.
i think it really stupid that there is a subscripthion anyways.
the reason we were given was to pay for more interviews and fabulous insights, which seem rather lacking. avalon is no different than astrovera anymore, except astrovera has more lively debates and discussions. i pick up some gems from both of them, and a lot of b**ls**t as well. there are some rather vivid imaginations 'out there' (double meaning intended)

Some folks are too busy doing to post. Luana is one of them. Crazy Waters made one post seeking folks to join
his sustainable community. No one bothered to reply. I chatted with them privately, but their goals and mine are
different.

I remember MMe M and offered her a gifted membership
before she left. While this place is pontificating about
space brothers, real people are hurting.

Yes I have some back channel information, and that is
all I will say about that.

The biggest issue with me is this nation is falling from
within (insert name of nation). No one cares. It's just
doomer porn. They found thermite in the dust of the
WTC and no one cares. They want your guns and no one
cares. They want to chip you and no one cares. They want to criminalize your garden and no one cares. Your
only saving grace is the divine influence who may save
you from yourselves. When they do criminalize your
garden they won't have the cash to hire the personnel
to enforce it. It will be possible to ignore them to death.
If you get off the government tit that is.

How many who read this still bank with one of the dirty
dozen? How many who read this are working on their
sustainable local community currency (thanks Waterman) How many who read this know anything
about financial permaculture? How many who read this
have a victory garden - even if it is just tomatoes in a pot
on the balcony? How many who read this have contacted
their representative to be a pain in their backside even
if it is just for show. How many have run for office or
told a co-worker even if you get the dumb look.

When I was a young pharmacist I had a very special patron who was a survivor of the Nazi work camps. He
took me aside and told me it was my responsibility to be
vigilant and vocal. I have done that. I taught my children
and actually told them not to come home - they are both
living overseas. I have tried to tell you who have ears
to hear. I was guilty of posting too much as our esteemed colleague, and stopped when the posts were
attacked on fine details with ad hominem arguments.

Take the forum down, and just donate to Kerry Cassidy.
I don't care. That is ultimately what it is all about. Personally, I would rather see you donate the money to
Naomi Wolf.

Baggy....you are right....and your posts have been missed for quite some time....are you saying that you quit because there were those who disagreed?
Or are you saying you were asked to stop posting negative posts.

I for one have been telling my friends at work about the state of the world and 911
I've been behind the 911 is an inside job from the beginning. and telling all I know without hesitation.
I have a victory garden...all though I'm having a problem with the broccoli
And the one you refer to is the very person I was talking about...a genuine victim of this awful mess
I too feel your frustration...but there are those of us here who ARE genuine....and do go that extra mile to help others...and get the ball rolling...and are meeting with others to find solutions.....Baggy I feel you

Seeing as I have been following Camelot's work with keen interest since day one..

I came here to hopefully network with hundreds of Ufologists from all over the world. Not to talk about gardening.

I am glad to have met all of you, and heard all your various rants. Made some nice friends, you know who you are.

I respect people like you Baggy for standing in your truth and radiating integrity.
I feel all your 'worldly' issues and problems can be resolved in a post-disclosure world using all of the technology at our disposal some being from off-planet sources.. and a spiritual renaissance to totally reform all existing power structures.

Im not asking you to agree with me.

To be honest I really dont want to be here on this Planet, it absolutely repulses me, the human aspect not the natural. But seeing as I am here temporarily.. I may as well help look for solutions with you guys, as nauseating as it can be sometimes on this forum.

I think the subscription should be lifted before the titanic sinks..
Get the t-shirts or whatever organised B + K and encourage donation instead.
It wouldn't hurt to drop in and say hi now and again either.. whats up with that?
There is no legit excuse for the lack of decorum, the internet is global.. cyber cafes everywhere. We are your support base and friends. Not just a cash cow.

Over and out.

I've connected with some folks from Avalon and was not happy with what happened. I'm now of the opinion that family and close friends.. or those in the neighborhood works better then strangers. Some of this is based on the reality that there may be one type of personality on the internet and something else again in real life.

I've repeatedly said that the focus needs to be on doing what one can do now while there is the grid and internet. Having made 3 major relocations in the past 10 years all I have to say is starting over from scratch is time-consuming - especially when building new relationships.

Our focus is getting our land productive with fruit trees and the aquaponics system built and producing.

Paid subscription is becoming a nuisance to me too, but when I think how much negativity there was here before, I think: let's keep it the way it is. There are ebbs and tides here like in the ocean, so i guess it is normal. It is getting warmer now, summer is coming in the northern hemisphere and people are spending more time outside instead in front of the computer. many of us have gained so much knowledge and new information that don't have to peek in too often. There isn't much new stuff, we have read, seen and heard most of it. We have shared our opinions with one another, know one another to a certain degree. or maybe we are quietely waiting for something big, whatever it will be....because we are yearning for a change.

CQ, CQ I hear you loud and clear. I recently got my ham radio license. I have a station set up on solar power too. I am here for the long haul. My connections that I have made thru here are great and the ground crew I have formed is just great. We have plans and Things will crumble around us and we will walk thru the dust hand in hand.

Now I appreciate all that posted here, but I feel more and more like Baggy. I have in no way means to garden or run for mayor, because I'm not in my own country and I have no intent of staying, I'm counting down the days till I leave with my backpack that has hopefully most of the basics to survive without society (apart from that pocket food generator, darn!).

What I really want to know is why there aren't any other undertakings like the Nexus thingy but on a physical level.
I'm not thinking about "let's spread the word that aliens are real and all is effed and you need to wake up". That doesn't work, we know that.

But surely there are other things a displaced community of people like this can be good for! The ground crew obviously is a lucky bet, either there are people close or not. I've made friends here, and good ones at that, and once I'm back in Germany this might just about be something, but hey there's more potential here, it just gets smoldered by all the freakout news and articles.
I've been here since November I think, have posted and learned so much and that I'm very thankful for, but seriously, it's been weeks and months now that I haven't heard anything 'new'. The only thing that's left is starting to study the details, which I simply won't do without having a 'plan' or intent for them.

Something that's been bothering me is that Free Energy is hardly ever mentioned on here. I never figured out whether it's real and usable or not.
Be that as it may, I'm after ideas... ideas as to how to do something productive with the group of people here that are actually all willing to act somehow, but never got the chance.
Any ideas?
