Default When it rains it pours!

We just moved from NM after trying to locate like minded folks.

While we were in NM we had to move two times in 3 weeks, in this last move we left the state after our landlord did not inform us they were in foreclosure and behind in utilities (our rent included utilities).

Now we've been here 4 days and they are evacuating the neighborhood next to us because of grass fires. In fact there are 11 homes burnt down in the neighborhood next to us. I just spoke with two families that had to leave and were forced to evacuate. One family lost their home the other is pending.

Our power is flickering and I'm keeping this laptop up as long as possible. We are being told to get ready to leave. Whew, when it rains it pours.

Last time we moved back to this area, the world's largest tornado hit within a week of moving in. Being the first perons on the scene, I did triage outside for three days, and since I an amateur radio operator I was able to establish communications and eventually had a list of 600 missing people.

Now, after trying to locate "places of safety" my wife is very weary as are several displaced people in this area.

To say the least we are exhausted.

We have been on a journey to find like minded folks to get together with, but apparently our decisions have failed us.

Now the fire has moved from 5 miles away to one mile away and they cannot get the fires under control. We are located right next to an air force base and which is preparing for the worse.

There are multiple fires and high winds, but fortunately there have bee no deaths.

And on top of all this.... there are tornado watches at the same time....

Will, report more later....

Looks like someone is trying to tell you your on the wrong track. If you become what you want to attract, you will not have to look for it. It will come to you. Throw out logic and use your instincts to determine where to go next. Instead of finding a group already in place, you will show up somewhere else at the same time the others like you will arrive also. Trust the universe to give you exactly what you need to learn what you came here to learn.

Waterman, if you follow your intuition and let yourself be guided by the spirit, you will be led to where you are needed. This is rarely the same as having an easy time. It seems that the last time you moved back you were needed badly. Might be the same this time. Hang in there, and trust your own judgement.

Jnana, you make some good points.

I was able to help a heart patient that is now being cared for at the hospital. Next to us is a young family with a little girl who is taking the loss of their home much better than mother.

The need in this area is great. About 100 homes have been destroyed with many many more severely damaged. The haze is still in the air as they continue to fight fires over thousands of acres. However, there seems to be some improved weather conditions that are helping fight the fires.

If you feel led to help please do not send money to Red Cross, send it to the Salvation Army. I will explain later in another post.

Thank you for all your concern. We remain safe in an area surrounded by fires, and I expect we will be fine.

Thanks again
