Has anybody heard about the missing artifacts found in 2002 by the french and Germans in Iraq that are missing from the Ministry of antiquities in Baghdad, supposedly some sumerian scrolls and tablets??

I heard about their plundering - The Americans also got a shed load of these and sent them back to the uber elite antiques market for sale to the highest bidder.

Some however were destined for places unknown in a targetted bid to claim these specific pieces.

the reason i ask is the N.S.A dept of Antiquities and archeology,are studying some ancient tablets of believed sumerian origin. It caught my interest on two fronts 1st being why the n.s.a. even had a antiquities dept and 2ND if it could be the same missing tablets. made me wonder what it was all about.

nice to have you here.

Yes, I have heard of these artifacts: IMHO these artifacts and the were the main reason for the the war. TPTB wanted them, as they related to ancient technolgy and Stargates. I have read or heard (don't know which as I read and listen to so much info) that some artifacts are held in Berlin and London and that Saddam was trying to get them back. These were apparently taken from Iraq prior to the invasion. WMD?? no, no, no!!!!!
