G20 Protest: Thousands March for 'Jobs, Justice and Climate'
Police estimate crowd numbers in London at 35,000, which would exceed organisers' hopes Tracy McVeigh, Paul Lewis and Alok Jha guardian.co.uk, Saturday 28 March 2009 16.38 GMT They hoped for ten thousand but in the end more than three times that number turned out on London's streets today for the biggest mass demonstration since the beginning of the economic crisis. Great result! I'd liked to have been there. Peaceful as well which is fantastic only ONE arrest reported regarding someone drunk and disorderly.
So........to the press and general public who label dissenters as anarchists, troublemakers, thugs, undesirable etc etc etc etc ![]() |

Sorry guys but I think this is a perfect example of the "Reaction" part of "Problem-Reaction-Solution."
Quote:
Problem-Reaction-Solution: Create the problem (whether real or imagined), wait for the Reaction (mass demonstrations of people shouting "what are THEY going to do about it!!!!) then offer the Solution (ultimately one-world bank, currency and government, lots more police with even more draconian powers "to keep us all safe" and massive tax rises to become "carbon-neutral" that rake in billions for the guys at the top of the pyramid.) All I see here is a lot of decent, well-meaning people being conned and playing right into the hands of the elite. So when do the people who actually know what's really going on arrive? Wednesday, apparently: Quote:

Yes Steve you may be right that it's the same old pattern repeating itself.
I hope that this time things will be different. My belief is that more and more people are feeling and awakening that things aren't as they seem on planet Earth. For example people like John Harris are working hard promoting Lawful Rebellion to raise awareness of the growing enslavement control over the popuation. If you're interested see this thread with what he is doing http://projectavalon.net/forum/showthread.php?t=12507 - includes link to The People's United Community My thinking is that the more peaceful protests there are from a variety of groups the better. This might make more people might start joining the dots. But yes unfortunately you're most likely right that there will be trouble and violence. |

Yes steve you are right, but an inbuilt reaction is to get out there and say your piece, this mind frame must stop if we have to achieve any change.
The programming has been set we follow the pattern so to speak. I'm so glad there was no one hurt because as always with these marches it usually ends with a riot. The one to watch for will be the one on thursday i think it is this may be the one which will begin any confrontations. |

A good G20 protest video to send round…
2009 MARCH 26 by feveriam A fun and hip G20 protest promo to spread around… Hope everyone going to Saturday’s protests keep a happy fun mood! No hope for Wednesday’s protests though… keep safe everyone Here’s the video (linked off my G20 will fail video): Video and comments (4:56): http://feveriam.wordpress.com/2009/0...ound/#comments Be very careful at the G20 Protests… 2009 MARCH 20 by feveriam The police know you are coming - but they do now know exactly what you are planning on doing… so be very careful and don’t do illegal things if you can help it! Cdr Bob Broadhurst said “Clearly there are some very innovative and clever people and they know our tactics,” Cdr Broadhurst said. “They want to stop the City on the Wednesday - that is their avowed intention.” But while police had worked closely with some campaigners, the plans of other groups were harder to ascertain. “Anarchists by definition won’t come and see us,” he said. "We never get rid of an enemy by meeting hate with hate; we get rid of an enemy by getting rid of enmity. By its very nature, hate destroys and tears down; by its very nature, love creates and builds up. Love transforms with redemptive power" - Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
