Default The priorities of the unwashed masses?

I'd like to expand upon this quote from another thread:

Now, let's stop and think for a minute.

Even if the NWO codgers came out on CNN in their full garb and hand signals and announced to the world, "You are all ******!", do you think the unwashed masses would care? Even if they sacrificed an animal live on CNN while drinking its' blood, do you think people would notice?

Meanwhile, a woman called 911 because the McDonalds in her area ran out of nuggets:

It's pathetic that people worry more about running out of fast food that will kill them than such things as the financial crisis and NWO agenda.

I think that as long as people are caught up in such silly nonsense (and COME ON, you'd think people would know better!), we will continue to be screwed.

I believe that it's best that if you are awake, to only worry about your immediate family and a few friends and move on. No sense in worrying about the rest of the masses. Let them get microchipped and herded underground or into FEMA camps like cattle.

I had previously said that I would not resort to trashing other human beings as being sheep but I am concerned because we cannot keep nitpicking over silly nonsense when there are bigger obstacles ahead.

Anyone else care to discuss?

Hey HB I heard that yesterday about the nugget attack at mcdonalds, there are many that have their head in the sand i'll grant you that . But as one avalon member said "create the light, worry about yourself and many will follow". I really do believe that.

Animals , there is so much compassion for animals on this earth and in some countries none. But I still and have always said 90% of earths people are genuine , true, and good people. It's only the 10% of the ones that make the news, such as nugget lady, the ones that are selfish, the ones that are greedy, the ones that can only think ahead far enough as to how I can screw the next person. Ya there out there, not to be understood by all of us good people by waisting our time. I frankly don't have time for any of them as to why or how that got that way, I just move forward.

Yesterday on the news , I was in Detroit and things are very bad here , unemployment rate in the city of detroit is 24%. High school graduation in the city itself is 19% . But there are those shining days were just when you think it's falling apart and you here the words, PAY IT FORWARD. It's when as of yesterday someone paid for the coffee in a drive thru window of the person behind them they did not even know. And the next car/ person did the same. And so 161 cars /people later it finally came to an end. They must have hit a 10%er by then or maybe the nugget lady. What I'm saying is there is so much good out there and it stands on it's own everyday, good doesn't look for recognition, to be on the news, or to be patted on the back. Good has it's own identity and light and has always been the force that will conquer evil. I stand for goodness and compassion , I will defend being a good person everyday as all of us who believe are the torch carriers to the next generation. Send me your address HJ and I'll buy you a coffee.

Maybe it demonstrates that to wake people up we need to change tactics. Rather than informing the masses about Monsanto poisons, FEMA camps, population reduction and microchipping we should tell them that if not stopped the NWO will shut down every fast food joint, Starbucks and pub, and will ban Desperate Housewives, Gladiators and soap operas.

As for the live sacrfice you're probably right.

More seriously, I think the main problem is that people can't relate to the real issues on a personal level. If the big problems ever trickle into their awareness they're programmed to automatically dismiss them as paranoid conspiracy theories, because they KNOW that their leaders would never do or allow anything like that. If you tell them about GM food that has no nutritional value and is designed to make them ill their response is likely to be "well as long as it's under a dollar for a loaf of bread."

They just can't grasp it. The media has been their constant companion since birth, and it has firmly controlled their perception of reality to the extent that now for most people it is cast in stone. Deep down they know that something is terribly wrong so the media produces an endless stream of fictional enemies for them to focus that feeling on- terrorists, the Russians, the Israelis, SARS, human-caused climate change, Muslims, single mothers, even kids for God's sake! The list is endless.

On the other side of the coin the media constantly reinforces the image of loving, caring leaders who are doing their best for the people through shows such as The West Wing and 24 (which also has pro-torture themes throughout), and through big Hollywood films too numerous to mention.

The bottom line is that most people won't believe it because they don't WANT to believe it. They are conditioned to accept whatever they are told by Authority in whatever form. More people are questioning now thanks to the internet, but still most just use it for **** like Twitter, pop videos on youtube and porn.

They're told they're free and they believe it because they want to; it's the fundamental assumption that their entire life is based on, and their egos fight tooth and nail to ensure that they couldn't be THAT wrong.

Sorry if this comes across as a rant, but that's probably what it is.

I think you're forgetting that a lot of people are incredibly stupid and can't see beyond the end of their noses

Good stuff here. I think it makes sense to include the everyday things that people like to distract themselves with (such as mindless TV, etc) and remind them that if the New World Order truly came to power, they would lose these things (and possibly their lives as well). People need to realize this stuff before it's simply too late.

I would prefer that they figure it out on their own because it's simply too much energy to try and awaken the world. As someone else said in this thread, paying for the coffee of others is a goodwill gesture but coffee isn't something that people really need. Still, it's a good example.

There will always be times when I just want to nosh out, do some herb and play video games for hours. I keep myself incredibly busy with life and I am starting a radio show on Sunday and that will add more responsibility to my already-full plate. Distractions can be good as they remind us that life doesn't have to be all work and no play.
