I read this too. I got the idea to read Bramley from Jim Marrs in Alien Agenda. I read a lot of Jim Marrs. What a superb investigative reporter.

Life on the Other Side by Sylvia Browne is the book that "woke me up" and started me on a new direction with my life. I then read all her books and then started to look for more

Some other books with great impact were:
Friendship with God by Neale Donald Walsch
Letters from Home by Kryon
The Field by Lynne Mctaggart
The Reconnection by Dr. Eric Pearl
The Divine Matrix by Gregg Braden

This was a great idea for a thread... I can see I have more reading to do!

I recently finished reading a book which has definately changed the way i think:

Carl Johan Calleman's "The Mayan Calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness"

As a result of the Astralwalker thread, many people know a lot more about the Mayan Calendar now and 2012, but this book tells you much more.

The book clearly shows that there is a divine cosmic plan that has an actual timeline for the evolution of consciousness. This cannot be changed, and as the end times approach we will increasingly "feel" the incoming new light.

The book explains clearly the changing concepts of ego, dominance, and material values as we move into a period of healing and unification of left and right brains, logic and intuition. He does not however appear to envisage major geophysical changes as we reach 2012, just our own awakening as we reach the end of the calendar. The book is packed with interesting info and thought-provoking stuff.

An amazing and important read for anyone interested in 2012 and the end of the Mayan Calendar. It has opened my mind and helped me understand why i am here at this time.

DAVID ICKE - "INFINITE LOVE IS THE ONLY TRUTH - EVERYTHING ELSE IS ILLUSION" (first published 2005)

This book should be mandatory reading for all truth seekers and those seeking to understand the role of consiousness on our lives, health and our physical and spiritual make-up.

In many ways it is a companion book to Calleman's "Mayan Calendar and the Transformation of Consciousness".

One of the most important sections of the book (though every word is immensely important), is the information on our DNA programming and how this can be "re-programmed" away from the mind control we willing enter into from birth. Consciousness can override the current DNA programming and send its own instructions to the DNA/RNA/brain network.

This book has helped me understand many things and move forwards.

Essential reading: 200 pages, $25 and you will not regret spending the money.

Flower of life book 1&2
Drunvalo Melchisedek

"The Secret History of The World" by Jonathan Black

Published in 2007, this book has reached iconic status already.

It is the leading book on the history of the esoteric writings, the esoteric world, and traces the esoteric tradition back from the beginning of time to the present day, based on the beliefs and writings of the secret societies.

Any student of the esoteric agenda should make the effort to read it, all 550 pages, and as Graham Hancock said of the book, "nothing of this scale and ambition has been attempted since Madam Blavatsky's "the Secret Doctrine".

Every single esoteric influence, people and places, that has affected the direction of the world is covered. Outstanding.

The Two Fat Ladies...an iconic tv show...fondly remembered around the world. Their recipes were taken from another time and tradition...a time when i grew up! I loved the show when Clarissa said "ban all lentils! They make vegetarians randy!!" Tomorrow i will have lentil pie in remembrance!! thanks Dan!

I won't ban the past if it is the Two Fat Ladies!

That is SUCH a good sign!

Get that Pinot Noir bottled. How about an Avalon party later this year? Can we use your place if we bring wine and food?????????

Everyday is a lovely day for me.

Although....I'm re-reading your favourite southern hemisphere book tonight..."On the Beach" - Neville Shute. Graphic desciptions of how the world ends through radiation carried by the wind.....

The end of the world...at your place. Wonderful. We'll go out drinking Pinot Noir. If you haven't read it....its one of the greatest books ever written (1958, believe it or not!). In it Shute explains something that the "smart" George Green-loving sycophants don't realise....the southern hemisphere WILL be affected by Northern Hemisphere neuclear radiation (which George Green maintains won't touch the southern hemisphere because of the wind routes which will keep it north of the equator)...this is because of what he calls the "pressure equator", which moves the equator a little south with the seasons, bringing the winds with it...so the radiation DOES eventually get you.....but leaves you enough time to finish off your stock of Pinot.

Thanks, Nature! I'm coming south!!

piers, you'd be most welcome. I mean it when I've said that I'd love for other Avalonians to visit. I have a stone barn that I have cleaned out and installed a huge fireplace. Its a great venue for a party, and great acoustics (being stone). We have events there, great parties! I would kill the fatted calf ! Whoops!! I forgot that you are vegetarian. I mean I'll murder a few carrots!!! And polish the wine glasses!

Cheers

Thumbs up Re: Books that changed my life - Tell me more!

The Bible (Believable Information Before Leaving Earth) - God(s)(?)

- First as a Child and Ignorant of the Agenda. Then again later, with the King James Version as an Older Man when I finally knew something was up.

History of the Universe from the Big Bang to Black Holes - Steven Hawking

Incredible read and It expanded My Mind in ways I cannot describe with words. Only constructs fit and - Well You know how that goes - LOL...

Couple that with understanding Eleventh Dimensional Quantum Mechanics/Physics and You've got a potent combination.

The Great Quotes - George Seldes

Another incredible read and as I read it before the InternetZ was up and running - It opened My Eyes a heck of a lot. It has ALL the great quotes plus the Bad Ones We now see so prevalently and use Ourselves in Our Posts to show the Mentalism of the Globalist Agenda in how They view and control Us.

The Stand - Steven King

Read It is all I can say to do It true justice. Its prophetic and very insightful as to Us, and how We operate when the Shizzle Dizzzle happens (Humans that is).

The Urantia Book - The Spiritual Heirarchy

I only mention this book as it explains in a way that no other book will - Co-ordinate Representation - The Makeup of the Innner and Outer Creations in arrangement and purpose - The Idea of the Thought Adjuster (The God within - The Sovereign Integral if You will) - The Makeup of the Orders of Life (Mortal, Morontial, Spiritual, Midwayer and many other orders of existence) - The Orders of the Angelic and Powers - The Three Reasons why the Fallen, Fell - Etc. That said I have only scratched It's surface in description.

Now - I don't profess to say that this book is the TRUTH.

The Universal Father/Mother All that Is writing it per say. What I will say is that this is the Spiritual Heirarchy's detail of what They know. They're rooted in the Human Mind System if You will, and govern there as Souls move up.

As You move past the need to be Controlled or "Schooled" - The Spiritual Heirarchy falls away and You move into Christ Consciousness - The Middle Path. This is a Book of the Positive Duality and while beneficial to the Whole and in line with Christ Consciousness - They are the Counter to the Negative, and do not come from the Middle Path.

This is what must be seen if You read the book. That said - Its a good Atlas about alot of the Levels and Agendas being displayed through Polarity and Dualism here in this Reality.

The Book of the Law of One - The Awareness known as Ra

To the uninitiated - Christ Consciousness explained IMO.

Hermes Trimestigus - Hermes Trimestigus

The Snake Brotherhood and how They think. Good reading but You can see the Slant. The Funny thing is - The Slant is still there today - Its just at a different Angle - LOL...

The Biggest Secret - David Icke

Mindblowingly Awesome. This book lays it all out back to Sumer. Perhaps even farther. One thing I should note is that David Icke must be commended. He - At the End of every Chapter - Gives You the references on where He has found the Information in researching the Material. Awesome - This Man is very thorough and I must Admit that I really admire this Guy for His Ballz.

I would say - We are Kindred Spirits.

There are more, and I will add them as I remember ALL that I have read that has CHANGED My Life.

Carmen, you're a star! More to follow....

We could make it an "End of the World" party...or perhaps in keeping with this book thread, a "Now" party, as in Tolle's "Power of Now"....

He once said in his great book that a Buddhist monk had once told him "All i have learned in the twenty years i have been a monk I can sum up in one sentence: All that arises passes away. This I know".

He had accepted the impermanent nature of all things...

So lets make that the party theme.....

I had been struggeling with a torn conscience for a while what with walking away from church and realising that whilst I was in full earnest about my spirituality, they wanted religion.
I had stumbled around for a few years (quite a few) and then came across
David Icke's, The Truth Shall Set You Free.

Brilliant, just what I needed to enable me to finally cut the bonds that tied and not to look back but to grow and grow. I guess that is why I am an avid fan of his, brilliant man.
