Government to give every american 1,000,000

Here is a great idea... mentioned on a talk show by Russell Crow.

Here is how you solve the american debt problem:

Every american citizen (what 300 M or so) should be given 1,000,000. Total government bailout - 300 Million. Wouldn't this kick start the economy? Wouldn't this put the money back to the people instead of the 700 Billion + to the crooks?

This sounds wonderful. I'd love to be given a million dollars for doing absolutely nothing. Then again, people have killed each other for only a few dollars, so if this happened I'd expect the murder rate to skyrocket in this country. Lots and lots of people would not only want their piece of the pie -- they'd want yours, too.

Hmmmm again, it seems that this is what needs to happen. In order to bring change or a "new" system, the "old" must be purged, dissolved and gone. Isnt that what we want? A new system not based on greed and a false currency?

If you give 300 million people 1 million dollars each it will cost 300 TRILLION dollars.

If you cut that back to $100,000 for each American that is still 30 trillion dollars.

If you give 300 million people 1 dollar each it will cost 300 million dollars (plus several dollars in processing costs for each check sent!).

The current total US National debt is around 10 trillion dollars. Divided by 300 million that means we each owe around $33,000 dollars to the national debt collection agency.

We may want this, but the majority may be scared of this. In order to to facilitate the change the current system would have to be exposed and destroyed. People would have to come to the realization that money, material goods, and consumption are the tools that caused the failure. But would this be positive? What if we, as a race, lost the desire or ability to continue medical research and treatment? What if our life spans decreased to an average of 50 years?
