The Clash - Should I stay or should I go

Anyone remembers this one? Could be the theme of Project Avalon, no?

Now, serious (very).
Almost everyone here wants to survive, whatever is coming, at all cost.
In a way that's what Project Avalon is all about: finding out what is coming and how to survive it.
I don't want to survive everything. It all depends on what is coming.
Should I go to the other side of the world, because of a northern hemisphere that would become radioactive after a series of atom bombs have been dropped? Maybe the southern side will stay unaffected. But is this a world I want to live in? I don’t know. It doesn’t seem to be a nice idea, some of my species wrecked half of my world out of greed and other nice qualities. I would be ashamed. The idea, the people on the other side, not death yet are all slowly dying. Not very nice too.
And then you have to be sure, your southern part isn’t really affected. I half of the planet dies out, could the other side survive in the long run? I remember a discussion where we asked each other; what do you prefer if the atom bomb falls: would you like to be in centre of it, or 100 miles away? Of course we would rather not see atom bombs falling. But in case it has to happen, maybe it’s better to have it right on your head. You wouldn’t feel a thing. If you are 100 miles away you are deep in trouble. Then a long horrible death is waiting for you.
But if you ‘re on the other side of the world. Maybe. Again it depends on what will happen. If the whole northern part is so heavily contaminated that all live diminishes the whole systems would collapse.
So I would prefer we’re all wrong and nothing happens at all. The world is already in a terrible state. Please let’s not add to it.
It’s better to prevent than to heal, or something like that.
And if those predictions were right, I’d rather like to die I think. Death in itself is not the worst thing that could happen. Am I a coward or to negative, you think?
