We have quite a few people who are very angry at the system. I'm not sure it's a majority, but the numbers are quite large. So long as some people can benefit from the system which does tend to also be a quite sizable number of people, it won't be politically tenable to remove it. It will have to fail by itself. The good news is we're not that long off...
