Looking for Points of Interest during my move

Hey gang!

I will be moving from PA to OR the end of this month, following the route in the link below. I am wondering if anyone knows of any interesting stops I should make on my way. I am trying to keep it to things that are less then an hour off this route, however if there is something of high interest, i may alter the route to see it

I am interested in anything really, tourist sites, museums, strange sites, beautiful nature sites, etc. I will be taking a lot of photos on the way!

If anyone that lives along this route wants to be extra helpful and lend a couch to sleep on, that would be great too!
