Dear Egg,
what we are saying is not contradictory, is complementary. Both processes are needed. It is good to have lots of thoughts and be involved in many things. A person who has been doing only one thing, becomes very fixed, and changes become difficult.
It is better to be fluid, to use the critical mind when dealing with research, etc, and the no-mind when searching for truth within ourselves. That way we’ll get the best of each new situation, bringing a new quality to our beings – it makes us richer.
