Beyond Stillness

I am a great admirer of Eckhart Tolle, I believe he has done a great service to humanity by bringing his experiences and teaching to the masses.

His book "The Power of Now" and "Stillness Speaks" opened the door to many of how to contact the Divine through stillness. Also his teachings on the ego and its manipulations are brilliant and offer true insight on how our mind works.

However, stillness and how to attain it are in fact only half the story.

Because there is something beyond stillness........and that is bliss or ecstasy. This is essentially divine union with God where you may see lights, hear sounds like the flute, gong, or running water and can actually see the spirtual eye and go through it.

This I believe is the highest state a human can experience here on earth in a physical body.

Has anyone here experienced this?

I think I did ,though not read that works you mentioned above.

We are much limited in this body...

hi kriya ... i am not fully versed in eckhart tolle's writing but for as little as i have read of his works i have a great appreciation for the man ...

stillness ... it IS the door to the beyond ... and in what i experience ... there definately IS a beyond ...

to write the beyond is beautiful ... would be a complete understatement ...

it is ... AMAZING ...

mudra a few days ago in a post wrote of silence ... going within ... and just BEing ... shutting out the 3d distractions is a must ... letting go of all that we 'think' we know ... BEing open to all that is ...

embracing it ... knowing what you experience is not of delusion ... that it is just as real as anything here ... and eventually coming to know ... it is even moreso ...

and just allowing ... giving ego some time off ... the ego has no place in the beyond ... ego is baggage ... in the beyond ... one must travel light ...

when these doors first began opening for me ... it was a great challenge for me ... for what i experienced i did not want to come back from ... why would i ... why would anyone come back here ... when being there ... is so true ... and so right ... because there ... i know exactly who i am ... and the greatest ... is to experience the oneness of all that is ... it is so very humbling ... i really have no words to describe it ...

bliss and ecstasy indeed is what is beyond stillness ... but the experience of both ... is not as i would describe them to be on this plane ... it is ... different ... they are experienced ... but more like the greatest fulfillment one can know ... the neutral ... being the core of the bliss ... if that makes any sense ...

beyond stillness ... there is no discomfort ... no disease ... no darkness ...
fear is absent ... fear doesn't even compute to be there ...
fear is too dense to be there ...
dense energies ... feel like they are kept in check ... neutral ...

beyond stillness ... there is complete well BEing ... abundance of what one desires ... infinite possibilities of creating ...
there is what we would describe as goodness ... and yet a balance ... of all energies ...
there are intersections to experience ... not one life experience ... not two but many ... all occuring simutaneously ... they can be observed ... and felt ... separately ... or together ... each life knowing never being lost in the layers of the others ... all very vivid ... with the greatest of clarity ...
intersections i call them ...

difficult was it for me to return from there ... but i learned ... i now know the goal is not to locate the door through stillness and silence ... experience the infinity of beyond and to remain there ... that is not the goal ...

i have come to know ... we are here for a reason ... THIS life experience is a very significant one ...
we souls have gathered here now ... to assist in lifting the veils ... and to increase the vibration of this planet ... these experiences are all part in part of the big picture ...

we are the instruments of this shift ... we are here ... to INTEGRATE ... the beyond to what we have here ... it is time ... this is it ...

this planet ... must rise above the muck we have created ... the density ...
earth is meant to elevate with the times of truth ... and we are that truth ...

we've really been stagnant for so long ... we have closed off all doors to the knowledge of what is real ... to our extraordinary abilities ... life experiences that we were meant to live ...

somewhere along the line ... we became stuck in the muck ... this is not where we are meant to be ... we have within us ... so much more potential ...

i feel ... we are not meant to advance to the beyond and remain there ... not yet anyway ...
we have a job to do ... here and now ...
and we are doing that job ... that job being to come to know what really is of truth ... who we really are ... seek then what is beyond ... experience it ...

bring the vbibration of the higher frequencies ... here ... to this beautiful planet ... to allow it to rise to where we all need to be ...

by living it ...

the beyond is amazing ... but so are we ... we just have to realize that we are ... and those doors ... beyond silence ... beyond stillness ... will fly open ... and remain open ...

Beautifully put futureyes......I couldn't have expressed it better than that.

India Yogi's call it "being drunk with God" And yes trying to maintain a normal life becomes very difficult.

Ramakrishna used to smoke a pipe (not because he was addicted to tobacco) but so he could come back down to earth, so to speak.

There's a great story in Autobiography of a Yogi of a postman who didn't want to learn higher kriya yoga techniques because he was already so God intoxicated he couldn't make his deliveries properly.

PS IMHO I believe that is why so many people get caught up in drink and drugs as it is I believe an attempt to recreate the blissfilled state.
