The Secret of Oz
Wednesday, November 25. 2009 Posted by Karl Denninger I've now had the chance to watch the copy of this movie that was sent to me. It's interesting - particularly for the historical quotes, many of which I have never seen before in our "history" books. I've researched a few of them, and found they're authentic. So why aren't these featured prominently, given that they clearly do evidence intent, along with being a part of actual history? Indeed, isn't this part of the debate on one of the most important parts of history - economics? Hmmmm...... Do I agree with everything in here? No. In particular, as I've repeatedly pointed out, I consider fractional reserve banking a choice, and one that comes with both benefit and cost. But this is a debate we should have in the open, including, if it is indeed documented, the abuses that those who profit from that system have committed in the past, so that if we are to utilize such a system we do so as an informed populace. For that reason I present the trailer here, along with the link to the publisher's site where you can buy a copy if you choose: http://www.secretofoz.com/ ....and while you're at it, boycott Spamazon (http://amazon.com) as they have apparently decided for undisclosed reasons to bar the publisher from selling it there.
