Default General Petraeus-what's in a name?

http://www.npr.org/templates/player/...813&m=14290785
Three times the name 'Petraeus' can be overly identified in ancient history and every time the name is linked with battle, war or helping an oppressed people. The once-common name might just be an appropriate monkier for the U.S. commander in Iraq and Afghanistan.A Centaur,a god that splits rocks or a general that helps the oppressed?Does history have an habit of repeating itself? He was sent in greek history by Philip of Macedonia to Sparta as an emissary to stop a civil war-parallels here with the article below?

ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - The U.S. commander running the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, General David Petraeus, arrived in Pakistan on Sunday for talks with government and military officials, a U.S. embassy spokesman said.

His visit to Pakistan, his first foreign tour since taking charge of U.S. Central Command on Friday, highlights growing concern in the United States about a country seen as crucial to bringing stability to neighboring Afghanistan and defeating al Qaeda.

Analysts in the United States say nuclear-armed Pakistan is facing a major threat from Islamist militants at a time when the country and its new civilian government are engulfed in extraordinarily difficult economic problems.

Petraeus is being accompanied by Assistant U.S. Secretary of State Richard Boucher.

"They are here for previously scheduled meetings with government and military officials," said U.S. embassy spokesman Lou Fintor.

The Defense Ministry said the two Americans would meet Defense Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar on Monday.

Petraeus is also due to meet Pakistan' army chief General Ashfaq Kayani, a military spokesman said. Officials have not confirmed talks with President Asif Ali Zardari, the widower of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.

I prefer his 'other' name
General Betrayus!
Warmongering piece of nastiness.

Yeah dead true just interested in names/symbolistic purposes because the illuminati and cohorts are steeped in this ancient information and tend to apply it to modern agendas.

It leads me to think that it's not his real name. I just don't think it's a coincidence that his last name has such history behind it.
