Prayers for my dog, he was hit by a truck
I would appreciate prayers for my dog he was just hit by a truck and they are doing xrays and checking to see what damage has been done. His name is Pinot.

Today my little cat "Angel" was hit by a speeding bell telephone van. The driver did not even stop, just killed my little girls cat and kept on driving. She had a wonderful life with us and I was just playing with her ten minuets before she went outside. I am very sad today. Poor little animal friends!!! Good, Good news. Even though he took quite a hit and there was lots of blood, he has no broken bones, they think all he has is massive bruising and one deep wound. He is even able to walk , the doctors say he is so lucky that's all there is. He is on some medication for his injuries, he is one blessed companion, friend, and a wonderful soul.
I had parked my truck and was getting out and Pinot saw a squirrel and was off without thinking and I could see the whole thing unfolding in a horrible slow motion as the squirrel and Pinot raced across a street with very bad timing. The man who hit him with a truck felt so bad and did stop and help get my dog in my truck to take him to the doctor's. Neighbors came out from all over when they heard Pinot's cries and one jumped in my truck so I would not be alone and to help at the doctor's to get him out and carry him in. The kindness of everyone has touched my heart. I have to say I was a bit of a mess, from the whole thing. Thank you for all your prayers, and heartfelt sympathy to Jester for his loss. |

Sorry I came to the thread a little late but still I'm sending Pinot healing energy. And Jester, I'm very sorry about your cat, just remember that animals have a soul too and many people report seeing them when the owner passes to the other side so be assured your cat is in heaven now. My prayers for your family.

Judy thanks for kind words... and I am glad to hear that Pinot is on the up swing! Thank you all for the kind words...its really amazing how attached we can become to our animal friends. Life goes on for the rest and we have a golden age to bring in...wait till the crystal quantum phones get here. Gonna put bell right outta business...then there will be no speeding service vans with ignorant drivers racing through my town.

Wishing Pinot continued healing and sending you thoughts of strength and support. Blessings JesterTerrestrial, After a close friend's cat passed on I was blessed to see him romping through her house weeks after the event. That was certainly evidence to me that the passing was only from this dimension and somehow a veil had been lifted so I could comfort her in her time of need. It was all so surreal, as I saw the cat zip right past me and out of one room into another. I ran into the other room in shock and asked if she saw him, alas she had not. She did however have every confidence in me and accepted the vision and was grateful to know her cat was not suffering anymore! Wishing you the strength to accept Angel's tragic death and the compassion to comfort your daughter. PaL |

Good news judykott! Bad news JesterTerrestrial. I love animals. I think they have souls. Could animal reincarnation help to explain instinct?
C.S. Lewis wrote that a hell for humans and a heaven for mesquitos could be combined! I boarded my dog at the vets...where a tumor was discovered. My mom prayed...and when I returned...and took my dog home...the tumor was gone! The possibilities are an attempted scam...a natural occurance...or a miracle. I started reading this thread a moment ago and along the way I found out that Pinot is doing well. I'm so glad!! But anyway I'll send some extra love to him to help him recover more quickly.
