All this "talk" about positive intention on this forum..

Anyone who is regularing this forum for any length of time should be well aware of the factor we play in determining the futures we will experience through our very thoughts and emotions. Each time you post a thread or a message on this forum it radiates out an energy that will influence its readers in either a positive or negative way. This can in some cases create a profound change in the receipant/s be that in a positive or negative fasion. Or it can create a small change that in turn over times leads to a profound altering of ones reality. Ive always liked this analogy, to give power to this concept. Think of the monumental chances there were at play for hitler as a sperm to have made it to that ovum against half a billion sperm and against all the odds. That is a perfect example of the butterfly effect in motion. One fast sperm, millions of dead people.

Ive just come off the phone to a friend of mine who is going into business. He has spent the last hour talking to his friend, who i dont personally know, about the economy and how disasterous our future is to be. My friend who is normally a positive enthusiastic individual in the face off any kind of adversity rings me up and was obviously in a very negative mood. His other friend, feeding off the negative "were all going to die" energy completely bowled him over and literally changed his vibrations to ones that can only be compared to being stagnent and fear ridden. (misery loves company)

This happens on forums all of the time. We are in a situation where if you dont know the drill by now you should. Theres many different avenues of learning availible to everyone who is looking to make a difference out there. But being positive is numero uno. There is a recession going on for the rest of the world but do we want to have a recession going on here at avalon, and in its members lives? Fact is much stranger then fiction. Each persons reality is determined by their level of consciousness and the vibrations they are radiating into the world. Even tho there may be a recession out there does not mean there has to be one in our lives as well. The recession will end when the more positive and creative individuals that are aware of their power radiate their vibrations to those around them and thus bring the butterfly effect in motion.

I'm not telling anyone what to do. Im advising what the easiest course of action is. And its something that needs to be a community effort in order to exhibit the profound effect that is its potential.

We all know the score now guys. These words are energy and will influence an individual by the energy they exhibit. As do all words, as do all tv shows, as do all political speaches. Let the change start here. Be responsible for the energy we all create in the world, and on a forum such as this. The internet may seem insignificant to some but it is one of the biggest and baddest catalysts for positive change that we have at our disposal.

Jack, I agree, completely!

A high vibrational energy is paramount in my world. I work at it daily and often moment by moment, I have become attentive to my own thoughts and the power of my word towards others.

Awareness of our moment by moment energy, is a great place to start. It can be difficult to stay intune with our energy/thoughts due to the variables we are bombarded with, however, awareness is the key.

I can only control myself, and that is a mission at times, It is the most important part of my daily life to keep my attention on my energy, and, like all things, practice at it, and it becomes easier to stay atuned.

Also, remember, we can only do our best on any given day...

Swanny - Im not hoping for any changes, im playing my part in making those changes. There will be no devine intervention, its up to us to make the effort. Were in a time and a situation where we are given a profound opportunity to make these changes with much more ease then was possible in the past.

The world is negative now, but what a lot of people miss is the fact that there is a huge amount of positivity in it also. Its just not something that we are exposed to when we watch tv or read the newpapers, it is still there none the less. A positive individual will experience a positive life. And a negative person will experience a negative world, im saying this from my own life experience.

And if your vision of the future is negative, then the future shall be negative. For you.

The problem with the world is that we see it out there with all the positive opposing the negative when in fact there is really only us and what we do with it .

He was dead right. Life shapes itself in accordance with the observer. This has been proven down to the sub atomic level, which means that we are literally shaping our reality by the very act of perceiving it and our beliefs mold what it is we create. Awesome stuff.

If we remembered the bigger picture and were conscious of how powerful our thoughts/words are in how they affect the world, especially now, we would be more judicious about what we 'put out there'

i also posted a thread on parallel realities. i agree as i witnessed a positive outcome from me projecting a positive future for my own livelihood (i was at a really desperate period) , despite all the naysayers saying it would be "impossible", during the worst economic downturn starting last oct. things almost instantly turned around for me when i decided not to be a victim and think only positively.

Sorry my post came across as though I don't think a positive future is coming our way.
I don't like the world as it is but I believe the future will be fantastic and am also working to create the changes we need

At what point does being positive morph into thinking things are fine when they're not...or being gullible...or being dishonest...or not facing reality? Positive thinking is a double-edged sword. It cuts both ways. It can get you out of trouble...and it can get you into trouble. There are politicians, preachers, and gurus who encourage their followers to believe in them, to have faith, or to think positively. Does this often shut down critical thinking? The primrose path can lead directly to a very high cliff.

My goal is to be neither presumptuously positive...or needlessly negative. One of my favorite terms is Positive Response Ablility...where one thinks both positively and negatively to accurately analyze a problem...and then proceeds to formulate a positive solution. If someone warns of a very real problem...are they shut-down, shut-up, and shut-out because they are perceived as being negative? "The bridge couldn't possibly be washed-out...could it? Let's just keep driving. Let's not even slow down. That idiot is always so negative. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!!"

the main reason for sorry states are Ignorance

so for the sake of the world it would be best if Ignorants did not raise to positions of power for they will naturally mess up for they are Ignorant in nature

There is a big difference between saying "ohh no the bridge is washed out lets all stay here and cry" and "ohh no the bridge is washed out, but im pretty sure ive figured out another way to get accross the river"

Being positive means we dont see problems as being negative. If we see a problem we will try and think of a solution. Wheras a negative person will see a problem and continue to dwell on it and feed off the negative emotions that arise. Thats pretty much what im getting at here.
