Default Dan Brown

I'm reading 'The Lost Symbol'. Nevermind the cardboard characters, I like it.
Dan B. (Where did I here that name before? Dan B. ... Dan B. ... Dr. Dan B.!) is not so much exposing or disclosing, but he's reaching out to lots of people who would never ever even think of touching the subjects Mr. Brown focusses on in his books.
I just wonder why it took him 5 years to write this book? Or did it?

After reading another thread here on Thursday past, referring to The Lost Symbol, I went to the local book store in search of it. It was $50, way over my little budget, but I found a treasure for myself there anyway. Who would have thought in this tiny town I live in that I'd find a book by Zechariah Sitchin? Well, I bought the only copy they had of his most recent work "The Earth Chronicles Handbook" and it's an autographed copy too. His other work I've been able to download free at Scribd.com but the new one wasn't available there. I do intend to read The Lost Symbol, as I find the information intriguing, and it will become part of my research. The bookstore owner said that it will be a year before the new book goes into paperback, so unless someone else posts it, I'll have a long wait before I can read it. Enjoy the book and let us know what your thoughts are.
