Well i did go and see this movie and was surprised how different it was from the original be it back in the 50's and what we know now.
I too said exactly the same thing "If they don't get the message, then frankly they aren't worth bothering about!"
Too many just don't get it!

Quite agree this is not our planet we are just the inhabitants at this present time and if the planet does exist in the future i dread to think what the human thought process will be then!
Not to spoil it for those who have not seen it yet, something was seen in the final moments a spark of love was felt and Keanu then knew all was not lost, well lets not wait till the eleventh hour and continue to try at least to awaken a few more although sometimes you feel it is all a waste of time
If anyone has seen the film THE HAPPENING! they will no doubt know that another threat to humanity, earths own geneology in our plant life, trees etc could be another way of killing us off. Although completely off the wall this film has some connotations to the planet taking over and plant life disrupting our mind patterns turning us in to suicidal victims killing ourselves!
What ever you make of these films, hints and innuendos are put into the mass mind programming us to take on any situation that may arise!
