Human beings want to survive and are deeply affected by the fear of pain.

I really don't know where I stand when I am threatened.

I can't say now, at this moment in time, what I would be; a hero or a torturer.
Would I inflict pain to another or would I endure it myself?

Would I be able to go deep inside and know that we are all one?
Would I be able to know and act upon that knowledge that what I do to my fellow human being, I would do to myself?

Would I let go of all convictions and experiences that tell me I am a separate being, OR would I feel we are One body? and feel the pain I inflict?

Would I live up to my heartfelt compassion for another human being?

and take a stand.....?
