Default Re: Jeremy clarkson-death throes of a nation?

So the banks are going to collapse leading to mass civil unrest and other untold hardships for the masses, but lets look at this with a bit of perspective. What the hell were vaxhaull/opel thinking of when they decided to get rid of the Vectra.

Ok, I think its fair to say now, that this car was not in the running for a turner prize for its creativity, but it had something more than the transient good looks of similar saloons in its class. This was a car that was confident of its down to earth roots, it stood proud at parties with a glass of blue nun, while the other guests were constantly trying to get one up on each other.

I think Clarkson has cunningly softened the blow of this devasting news with all this fancy talk of banking and what not, and he should be commended for his sensitivity. Opel/Vaxhaull Vectra, You will be missed on our roads, and all I can say to the replacement model, the Insignia, or whatever its called, You have some pretty big wellington boots to fill.
