Most physicians are sued at some point in their careers for malpractice. Really.

Look up the percentages, its quite eye opening. Doesn't really mean anything as ANY UNHAPPY PATIENT CAN SUE and most cases are dismissed.

So him being sued for malpractice only tells me that he was actually an MD which is a good thing.
