Re: How to spot a Mason online and offline (part two)
Firstly..... the how to spot a freemason is utter cr4pola!! Not even close to the truth. There are means by which to identify them, but that original post was so far off the mark its not funny. To identify them, much like they identify each other, is via hand gestures, hand shakes, and words. Not via personality traits.
Freemasons have changed over the past 100 years. They are loosing power, and loosing numbers....and quickly!
I like many truth hunters have wondered what goes on behind those closed doors.... and unlike many other truth hunters, I actually joined the ranks to find out the truth. So now I am a freemason!
I was more than a little disappointed by what I found too. Not much goes on with that group anymore. Here is a rundown of my discoveries;
It is NOT a religion.
They do have monthly meetings. Usually to discuss what has happened over the last month, and what is on the agenda for the up and coming month. (which consists of bill payments for rent and other expenses, plus they discuss the use of additional funds which mostly goes towards charity.)
They do have rituals, rules and regulations..... however these are just ceremonial.
They do look out for each other, but same goes for members in any social group.
This day an age I see it as nothing more than the worlds longest lasting 'legal gang' which turned into a mellow social group.(or the basis of a perfect business model)
Its a group of people who have common interests, and have a mandatory test of moral and values before acceptance into the fold.
The majority of the members are actually really nice people who are upstanding members of society. However like any group of people, statistically there has to be a couple of bad eggs.
Unfortunately the bad eggs have a habit of making it to the top, and that is what society sees. Ie, ex-presidents of the U.S, or ex-prime ministers of Australia, etc.
After joining I actually changed my option about the majority of the freemason members, however as previously stated there are still a couple of bad apples that seem to wreck the entire barrel.
I am going to continually search for any truth that may be hidden, but I no longer expect to find too much.
So before you give me a verbal bashing about my actions, I say STFU! You all talk about “finding the truth” but how many others have put everything on the line to find out for certain?! I am now a freemason, and I can never leave….its the rules. I made a sacrifice to find out the truth…… are you doing your part?
