Default Re: Alleged 9/11 mastermind wants to confess to plot dec 8th

Hi Antaletriangle,

Yet another interesting post that I'm becoming to expect from you!

This story of course opens a hornets nest of possibilities.

We know that Guantanamo needs to be closed down. We also know that the interrogation methods were / are less to be desired, some 'interns' preferring to die rather than go through another day of torture over there.

I personally think that the current pesident of the US is trying to justify its' existence by saying politically that if it didn't serve for anything else, it served to capture the mastermind behind 9/11 (and I thought it was Osama Bin Laden all along - silly me).

Also don't forget that the current president of the US needs to give closure to his 'watch' as he coined the phrase. Nothing better than to identify the real bad men behind the plot - call me subversive, but I do have my doubts.

If reported news of Bush and Cheney being sought to be prosecuted is true, they of course will need to find the real perpetrators of this barbaric crime, so they were so lucky to find these five Arabs in Guantanamo who admitted their acts which must get Bush and Cheney off the hook. Seems like they struck gold.

Don't forget that Rumsfeld has a lot to answer for also.

Also a little distraction from the real problem of the economy seems to be needed.

Let's face it, politics is a dirty game.

Best regards,

Steve

Another set up or scapegoat manicured by the CIA?
A senior al-Qaeda suspect has said he wants to confess to killing thousands of people in the September 11 attacks in a move which could speed up his execution.
