i parked my car;
almost 5 years ago

i would NEVER have believed i could live without one

gas should be about 50 cents a liter

but, you see, they jack it up, and, jack it up,
and, they jack it up

and, jack and jill keep paying it

i'll bet if jack and jill parked their cars
for 4 weeks ...
the price of gas would come down

but, you know, and, they know
jack and jill, will NEVER do it

(only a few ever will)

i like my life better NOW

it slowed me down,
and, made me really look at things around me,
and, now, i rent a car, if i need one

the cost of the gas; has ended up in everything

well; perhaps; they finally did
price themselves right out of the market
and, many truths, bubbling to the surface

here, big gas guzzlers,
they can't even give them away
also, with people stocking up on my things
i only need to go to the market,
twice a month

again, that keeps life simple

the price needs to come down
and, i think, they owe all the people
a refund
