No, the bible isn't true but I do believe that they put some things in that are true just to fool people.

This is an area I've studied much.
IMHO, the Bible has a lot of truth, but was edited and certain things omitted and inverted to suit the 'editors'. Oddly, parts of what I now believe to be true are scattered across several religions.
Are we not all children of G-d? I believe 'crucified' is meant to be metaphorical and 'Christ' figures have existed before and since; countless undocumented.
Just my two pennies.
