Thanks for the heads up Orion11. I just read this thread last night and it was pretty overcast so I couldn't see much, but I was looking forward to clearer skies tonight.

It does indeed look pretty awesome tonight here in the midwest.

I just took old WonderMutt for a walk and snapped a few pics.
Here's the best one, but my camera doesn't really do justice for what I actually saw.

Here's a pretty good one that a friend just sent me.
