The majority of the people here don't believe elections are real, and always complain that they don't really have a voice in the power structures of the world. I see moderator elections as a way to alleviate that fact - just a little bit. That is all I was trying to do.
I hope that after tomorrow, Avalonians will still think this is a good idea, and put someone else up for the vote.

imho you will be of much more help to others doing what you do: making people think about what's going on out there and react to it.
As a mod you have hardly time to write anything.
But as said, that's only mho.
