Hi Peer, its good to hear from you again.
God knows I don't really want to be a mod, and would have to juggle my scheldule just to do it part time. But that is what serving others is about - sacrifice. Between my personal and professional responsibilities, I already operate daily on a little less than the optimum amount of sleep. I don't care though - if I win, I'll make even more time.
But I don't anticipate a victory - with only one more day to vote, and only eighty votes so far, my own criteria hasn't been met (even though I am winning according to percents).
The majority of the people here don't believe elections are real, and always complain that they don't really have a voice in the power structures of the world. I see moderator elections as a way to alleviate that fact - just a little bit. That is all I was trying to do.
I hope that after tomorrow, Avalonians will still think this is a good idea, and put someone else up for the vote.
