It must be 0.9999 silver, NOT STERLING SILVER as the link shows.
There is another thread that gives a lot of detail on how to make colloidal silver, and where the silver wires can be obtained from, just make sure they are the pure silver type and not sterling silver, as sterling silver has many other metallic impurities combined to produce that grade of silver.
