Because that post was about DNA and not about his nationality. But certain people have their own agenda here.
A famous dancer wacław Niżyński was born in russia, of Polish parents. they both went to Russia ( during that time poland was partitioned by 3 empires so there was no Polish state as such), but nobody in Poland says that Nizynski was a great Polish dancer. The world knows him as a great russian ballet dancer adl let it stay that way:he was born there, he lived there, he learned to dance there.
