So far so good...

But Copernicus (orig. Koppernigk) was a GERMAN astronomer!!!
Born in the GERMAN city Thorn and died in the GERMAN city Frauenburg.

Don't believe in Polish sources in this issue, because they never will admit that Copernicus indeed was an ethnical German.
Since 1945 they try to Polonize him.
