We decided to start Project Camelot when on a trip to Tintagel in Cornwall, England, in April 2006. It's a magical place, and was Kerry's first visit. Tintagel has always been been rumored to be the original site of King Arthur's Camelot (the real one).
I recall it was my suggestion, and it took us about 90 seconds to agree and scope out the entire vision. It was obvious to us both that our skills and interests and ideals made it the natural thing for us both to do together.
Before that, Kerry and I had met when I was involved as webmaster for
http://serpo.org and Kerry had interviewed me at the Laughlin UFO Conference in February 2006. She interviewed me for 15 minutes (and reported that having been initially very skeptical, she was delighted with both me and the interview) - and then we turned the camera off and talked for a further two and a half hours. After that we agreed to meet in England in April, and Camelot was born (see above).
It's very hard to say which interviews are our favorites. The vast majority of our witnesses have since become personal friends, and so all of them are dear to our hearts in different ways.
Two always spring to mind, though: the first Bob Dean interview (which generated more mail than any other video), and the first John Lear interview - which was a gas from start to finish and was only marred by terrible audio (which was a mystery to us and absolutely not our doing).
