Wow what a thread I've been missing out on.
My background is physics BSc and acoustics/vibrations MSc although I seem to be getting brain dead in a large corporation I'm not sure for how much longer
it is automotive need I say more with the things as they are in the press.
I need to do some research and lots of watching to get myself up to speed but I've read through the whole thread and now intend to watch the links
Audio and vibration have been a fascination for me and I look forward to how this thread is progressing. I hope to be up to speed enough to hopefully contribute something meaningful... even if it is only encoragement!

Basically says the stones were made using stone CNC machines due to tooling marks etc. As an engineer I have to agreed with his reasoning. He also asked stone masons and they said it would be extremely difficult to replicate today.
