My power animal came to me. It is, of course, the white crow. They are not white of course, but crows with white markings, most often white wing bars, and sometimes a white necklace. They are real birds, and English birders call them "sports." The first time I saw one was the summer my "death" was being planned, and they have visited me at significant moments ever since my rebirth. The white crow is my messenger from the "otherworld" and a visible sign that the things I have experienced are real.
