To the OP:
I wouldn't call it weird. I'd call it more like phenomenal or fascinating. That hexagon is no mystery. As a matter of fact, Richard Hoagland covers it in great length in one of his interviews with coast to coast which you can find on you tube.

The reason for the hexagon being there is called cymatics. Look that up on youtube so you see what I mean.
