I don't mean any disrespect to anyone but isn't it rather convenient that when predictions don't manifest we say that the timeline has changed.
This thing about the truth protecting itself is a very elegant one and so is the need for the future to come in from the unknown, but the bottom line then is that the future for almost all of us is unpredictable and therefore unknown.
Which essentially means that there is only one timeline - the one that transpires. It is quite possible that there may be other outcomes or branches to our timeline BUT in parallel universes that we have no access to.
