Well, I think the point is although the
outlook of the subject matter may be negative - e.g. "banks close for a week starting December 1, cities will grind to a halt and there may be chaos for those not prepared", I think the manner in which, an albeit dubious, fact such as this is reported or discussed can be in a positive or negative manner depending on the poster, or the poster's attitude.
I do remember one thread beginning '2 billion people are gonna die !'. I think there were more capitals than I've represented here...
If one thinks about the ultimate intention of the poster, then you can look for spreading negativity. Of course if it ends up that 90% of all material on Avalon were to be about such doom and gloom, then I think you'd be right in saying it was the forum that was encouraging negativity. I don't believe that is the owner's intention. If I thought it was, then yes...I would not be here either !
