Someone used "Obama" and "Constitution" in the same sentence! Moreover, I suspect they werent kidding!
Please get a clue.
One thing that will NOT change, when/if Obama is sworn in, is the toilet paper in the White House. Copies of the Constitution.
Wanna look at the record? I give you three strikes:
1. (And no one knows this better than your "Constitutional Scholar") The President has
ABSOLUTELY NO AUTHORITY WHATSOEVER to take away, or restore Habeas Corpus. As a member of the Senate he could introduce a bill to do so
any day, in fact
every day! He has never done so, too busy getting himself elected.
2. He flushed away a campaign promise to the people to vote FOR what every "Constitutional Scholar" knows damned well Congress is
unconditionally and
specifically forbidden from even doing: Passing an
ex post facto law. (See Article 1, Section 9). Not only did he break his promise to fillibuster this happening, he voted to prevent anyone else from doing so, as well.
3. In the very same bill, he not only voted to flush your 4th amendment rights down the toilet, he basically voted for a law making everything Bush did illegally, legal for the NEXT President. Gosh, wonder who that is?
And... he did all of that
THIS YEAR while pretending to be everyone's hero/savior on these very issues. It boggles the mind.

Re. This notion of "get(ting) some of these guys." Never happen.
1. As a precedent, no sitting president will ever jail another. Don't care what they did.
2. Obama cannot go after Bush & Co. without also jailing 1/2 the leadership in the House & Senate. Think that will happen? Ha!
3. "In the interest of uniting our country.... blah blah blah ... I hereby pardon...."
