Aloha,

Our researchers have stepped into help sort the threads that need cleaning up and where they will be going. The mods will then clear out the negative content, leaving the info and sort the threads into their appropriate sub forums.

There were approximate 512 threads that were moved yesterday. It is no wonder that Avalon was dragging down to a slow halt.

As to Mary Lou, her information was incorrect with some respects. The HD info had been out in the open for months. She just found out about it and acted on her own without consulting any of us. If she had taken the time to talk to us we could have prevented the fallout.

As to the whole notion of psychic attacks.. all of the symptoms these folks had could have easily been the result of EMF (electro magnetic frequency) exposure from spending way too many hours in front of the computer and being bone tired. Some mods put in 20-hour days here. What does that tell you? They were covering and pouring their hearts out to keep this place going. Meanwhile, that type of dedication resulted in extreme fatigue.

Most folks realize that fatigue can play tricks with the mind and also lends itself to paranoia. This appears to be what happened. We had good people who were just way overworked keeping this forum opened and protecting it from spammers.

Hopefully a lesson has been learned from all of this. We have new mods coming on today and will be having more of the members joining us as mods later this week.

I want to thank everyone for their support while we get these threads sorted out for you. Just remember... when they are put back you can find them if you posted on the thread, or you remember who posted on the thread, by going to the statistics area in the bio pages of the members and clicking. It will show all posts and threads started by that member, or yourself, and you can direct link into the thread you're interested in from there.

For further understanding and clarification, below is the point system used by the mods for infractions. Our software system has been set up to automatically suspend someone once they reach the alloted points for a suspension. As this was just set up yesterday.. there may still be a software glitch or two also needing sorting out. Please be patient with us while we work on this and feel free to contact us if you notice something not right with it as well. I just want to add that usually someone has to have 3 infractions before being suspended. Suspensions can range from 24 hours onward depending upon what the infraction is for. Personally, I don't yet understand this new software program so until it's sorted out at this end there will likely be some problems with this for a few days. Thank you again for your patience.
