I agree, the Mayan calendar is not intended for prediction of such things as elections...
But, as you say, "......the kalender is a UNIVERSAL-TIME-TRAVELLER-map......"
A map of time, with references to certain things occurring in different regions of time.
So, to me, it makes sense for someone to presume that the information in the calendar would point to the more ethical of the 2 presented by the PTB. More of a presumption than a prediction, I'd say.
I personally believe the information about the map/calendar was relayed to the 'Makers' of the map from those in a position to know of the occurrences of those past times.
Superiorly old wisdom...
