Something I have been using for months with
FireFox is an add-on called
DownloadHelper to download and convert Web videos from hundreds of YouTube-like sites. This works also for audio and picture galleries, too.
Their Site: http://www.downloadhelper.net/
FireFox Add-on site: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3006
Then... the .flv files it saves for me off of YouTube and GglVideo, etc, I convert to MPG, WMV, or AVI with a freebie called
WinFF: http://winff.en.softonic.com/
WinFF supports the following formats:
GP, 3GP2, FLV, AMR, MP3, DVD (PAL or NTSC), MOV, WAV, WMV and XviD
OS requirements for WinFF: Win2000/XP
Enjoy, Fred
