And yes I'm in Argentina been living here some years now, great place, highly recommended. One of the calmer places in latin americas too in my opinion, with Brazil being one of the worst (lived there some time too).

Of course it depends where you are, but I find the capital here, Buenos Aires, to be a much more "sivilized" city than for example Rio de Janeiro which is total chaos.

And yes I will not mention any specific "safe zones" publically due to reasons I've stated in my above quoted post but Argentina is the second largest country in latin america so there's plenty of oppertunities. Brazil is actually my second choice for similar reasons (being the biggest country) and both have enourmous unpopulated areas.
